As cold nights approach, NEST (Newnan Emergency Shelter Team)jump into action (check their Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/theNESTnewnan). The NEST’s partnership as a fiscal sponsored program under the Coweta Community Foundation is a significant step in better serving our community. Last season (2022-2023), NEST operated for 41 nights, providing warmth, shelter, and meals to 64 individuals, including 13 seniors. Support this vital work by donating online or volunteering at the NEST, can create long term change in the lives of our neighbors.
