Sharpsburg Mayor Blue Cole is a graduate of East Coweta High School & Georgia Southern University. Mayor Cole’s resume includes nearly 20 years of state and local government experience managing projects and building partnerships. His ten years of Federal grant experience includes funding from HHS/ACF, USDOL/WIOA, HUD/HAP, USDA/SNAP and EPA/CWA. He develops broad partnerships across a network of multiple agencies serving similar populations. His previous projects include a state / city / NPO partnership to rapidly rehouse families; the creation of Parental Accountability Courts, currently in 42 judicial circuits across the state, and Strategic Outreach Coordination across 19 state programs focusing on self-sufficiency.

He lives in Sharpsburg, Georgia with his wife and four children, where he is in his second term as Mayor.
