Requesting A Grant

For Coweta Nonprofit Agencies or Agencies who serve Coweta residents:

The deadline to qualify for the 2019-2020 CCF Grant Cycle was May 30th, 2019. CCF accepts requests for programs/projects as well as operational funding. Grant applications opened beginning June 3rd and the deadline for submissions is August 31st. Grant applications and submissions will only be online. You will be given a login once you have qualified.

Beginning September 1st, the Foundation’s Grants Committee will begin reviewing grant applications. Once the grant applications have been reviewed, we will begin scheduling and conducting on-site visits and interviews with the applicants. This part of the process will end by November 30th.

CCF Nonprofit Grant Eligibility Requirements

  • 501(c)3
  • In good standing with the IRS and have filed tax returns/990’s for the previous 2 years (2017 & 2018). If you have not filed your 2018 return, in the application you can provide an explanation & date when the return will be available along with the two most recent returns available.
  • Registered with the Secretary of State’s office to solicit donations (Charitable Organization Permit)
  • Proof of service to Coweta residents

For Educational Classroom Grants (local Coweta County School Educators):

Grant applications will be accepted beginning October 1st and deadline for submission is November 1st. Grant applications and submissions will only be online. If you would like to apply or have questions regarding the grant application process, please email

Beginning November 4th, the Foundation’s Grant Committee will begin reviewing grant applications.

For all applicants:

Those who are being suggested for grant awards by our Grants Committee will be presented to the Board of Directors for approval at our December Board Meeting. All recipients will be notified in writing before December 31st.


  • Only one grant application per approved nonprofit/Coweta County Educator per award cycle.
  • All applications must be complete with all supporting documents requested uploaded to system.
